“I have been coming to the Bazorg class at DIWC for a couple of years. When I first started I didn’t know any of the ladies here but now they are my friends. This group gives me the opportunity to socialise and gives a little change to my week. I enjoy chatting with the ladies and doing the different activities they have here. Coming here makes me feel good.”
“Me Time gives me the opportunity to take out time from the fast pace of everyday, two hours every week where I’m not playing mum or wife or daughter ….where it’s my time. It lets me unwind, relax and keep my sanity…helping me recharge my batteries ready to start again.”
“This is my fourth class of cycling. I still am in awe when I get on the bicycle that I am able to cycle. Fatima has been a great inspiration and can`t express how much this class has had an impact on my life. I have tried so many things over the years and classes but I haven`t found anything that makes me so happy. It really has helped my mental health and helps me to cope and overcome other stresses over the week. I am grateful this class is available.”
"This class is good for me, it’s very near my home, it has a crèche facility, I enjoy learning here. I can keep an eye on my baby in the crèche when I am learning. I now meet new people, learn new things. DIWC cares a lot, supports me anytime when I don't feel good. They support me and talk to me, I have positive change in my life due to DIWC. I don't feel shy anymore and have lots of friends. Good benefits. I learn to use my English skills. I never had confidence to talk before. I do now. I go shopping and doctors. Driving is a necessity here. I enjoy learning in the driving theory class."
