What is the project?
In this project, Dundee International Women's Centre collaborates with a network of partner organisations to deliver essential information, support, and advice to families in the local area.
We work closely with support services across the city to assist individuals and their families with:
- Health and Wellbeing: Signposting to programmes and charities with a focus on physical and mental health, including referrals to healthcare services and wellness programs.
- Housing and Energy: Hosting housing appointments, understanding tenants' rights, and information regarding energy costs.
- Income Maximisation: Help with navigating financial support options, benefits claims, and budgeting information.
- Reducing Social Isolation: We organise community engagement activities and groups, that create connections and reduce loneliness.
- Employability: Support with job searching, CVs, interview preparation, and connecting with training or educational organisations.
This project aims to empower individuals and their families in Stobswell, connecting them with different services and available support.
