DIWC is a purpose-built community centre with a variety of flexible, modern spaces and facilities for use by our learners, staff and guests.
If you need childcare while you attend our classes and groups, our qualified staff will provide a fun, friendly, safe environment for your child and give you peace of mind to enjoy your learning experience.
For women attending classes at DIWC:
|£3 per session for first child*||£1.50 per session for second child|
Drop in (parent not present in Centre):
|£4 per hour per child|

Interested in hiring our childcare team for an event?
Our study area and IT room is where our learners can attend classes and get computer access.
There are 8 computers, all up-to-date, networked PCs with an internet connection.
Our large training room is a multi-functional space which we use for classes, meetings and events.
There is seating for up to 50 people (seminar style), which can be arranged into different configurations.
Our art room is a creative area used for art, crafts and sewing classes.
There is seating for up to 8 people and lots of arts and crafts materials and resources.
The community area is the hub of the centre, where our learners, staff, volunteers and visitors come together to socialise and take part in our various events throughout the year. There are comfy sofas, café-style tables and chairs, and a fully-equipped kitchen.
